"What If"?

Every great school has a story to tell
Brenden Picard originally came to Puerto Rico for a spring break getaway, but he quickly fell in love with the island's vibrant culture and stunning landscapes. Captivated by his new surroundings, he decided to enroll at Universidad Interamericana to complete his education. With prior experience as an ESL educator in countries like Bolivia and China, he soon found his first teaching job on the island, allowing him to share his passion for language and culture with his students.

Brenden quickly recognized a significant need within the community for a competitive education system. He envisioned a school that goes beyond mere academic success, focusing instead on developing critical thinkers are well-prepared for the challenges of the workforce. This approach aims to equip students with the skills and mindset necessary to thrive as competitive employees in today's dynamic environment.

Brenden transitioned into the pandemic by providing distance learning classes and collaborating with the school administration to implement a digital curriculum. During this time, he recognized an even greater need for educational equality in Puerto Rico. When the director of the private school decided to close its doors, Brenden and his fellow faculty members took the initiative to open a new school together, driven by their commitment to providing quality education for all, Caribbean Global School in Cataño.
